FUEL MANAGEMENT IS NEEDED TO RUN THIS KIT AND CAN BE PUCHASED ALONG WITH THE KIT AT ADDITIONAL COST
Fuel management: AEM FIC: 550cc plug n play injectors: Plug n play adapter for FIC: Kit price: $4425.00

you r smart to buy compleat kit..trying to do it part by part is not easy…get fuel managment option too. is fuel mag 4425 in ADDITION to turbo??? now ur talking big $ ..bad fuel delivery can lean it out and burn piston…but are u sure you want to put that money into that car…for same money u could maybe buy a maxima…WRX..or EVO..
You also completely skipped the small print.
You don’t bolt this on and get 100 whp.
With the correct engine modifications, and other supporting mods, you may see 100whp.
This isn’t going to cost you $4425. By the time you’re done with it, you’re looking at closer to $8000.
You need to strengthen the engine, that means rods, pistons, crank, etc.
Upgrade your fuel pump, get a fuel regulator. Etc and so forth.
Nevermind the cost of install. That’s another $1500, easily.
And tuning, which usually runs at around $125 an hour. For a complete tune, you’re looking at around 6-10 hours of tuning. Another $900-1500 or so.
And to get what? A car that can still be beaten by other stock turbo cars, but cost more to get you there?
turbotoyotaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. seriously, turbotoyota. you will get the most gains seen out of any bolt on kit on the market right now. i have a friend whose on the stage 1 turbotoyota kit making 310 whp and 272 torque @ 10psi off of this bolt on kit. he does have the aftermarket exhaust which also does help with the hp.
actually, for the tc’s the pistons already come sleeved. you also do not need to install a fuel pump either. these kits were made to work with the tc’s stock parts. the engine already comes with sleeved pistons which is why the engine can handle up to 350 hp on stock internals. once you go above the 350 hp mark, then yes you will need to strengthen in the pistons, etc. you will also need to upgrade your clutch after installing the stage 1 kit, as the added power will cause your ****** to slip (manual) or warp (auto).
but yeah, on top of the installation of the kit, you need to pay for gauges, gauge pod, exhaust, upgraded clutch, tune, and you should also have some money left over for the “just in case” situations. you kinda need to plan for the worst when installing and driving a turbocharged car, since it was n/a to begin with the likelyhood that something bad may happen is greater than a stock turbo car. just pay attention to the car, maintain it properly and it should be okay. go to the link and to the forum, talk to a guy named java09. ask him about his turbotoyota kit.
