depends on the specific vehicle. Greddy tends to be more of a honda, mitsubishi kind of sound, where as HKS follows subaru and nissan more. I have an 02 WRX that has the Greddy blow off that vents to atmosphere. personally I enjoy the sounds of a chuckle over a whistle. its more discreet but not as favorable when you need to be noisy. both have quality products and are interchangable
