But first I wanna know for a turbo if I should get a garret GT35R or a FP Red. Ok so hears my list. and again feel free to add anything or tell me another recomendation.

Intercooler: Greddy Front mount

Downpipe: maddad downpipe
That pretty much it, and I dont wanna blow my engine so if there anything else i shoud get lemme know. thanks

You will need a new fuel pump, a walbro 255lph would be good. You most likely will also need a short ram intake instead of cold air because with most fmic, the piping would be in the way. You might also want to look into an intercooler from turbo XS or APS. I dont know if it’s with all of their fmic, but I hear a lot of complaints that greddy intercoolers are too small. And with a red or gt35, your gonna want a lot of airflow. Uhhh I cant really think of anything else you need, but theirs probably something that one of the other guys will come by and add lol. But yea that looks like a pretty good setup, and as long as you know a good tuner, and get a good tune, you should get some great numbers with it, probably in the 400-500whp range. Possibly more depending on which turbo you go with.
if its going to be street legal you will have to keep the catalytic converters, so the up or down pipe (which ever replaces the cat) might not be a good idea.
yes get a new fuel pump u need a bigger one to run all those get gauges oil pressure gauge and a unkinked boost gauge make sure it reads right. and when getting it tuned go to a custom shop do some reserche. wideband might help. i spun abearing for having a simple air intake. untuned subarus are picky me and about 16 of my friends have stis wierd right ? aha . well from experiance fuel pumps go and when you have a kinked boost line that says 20lbs and ur running 32lbs on 20g yah.. not good you do alot of damage. i didnt have a oil pressure gauge. and it caused half my engine to blow turbo and all .. highly recoommened get a tune. not by access port … AP are good but not for what you have. get a it protuned. i got more info for you if you have aim give me an im Robbbert22
If you have to buy the inter cooler and all the other parts and want to run such a big turbo, I would go rotated. 35R sized stock location turbo’s can make good power but still have their limitations because of the placement. Many vendors on NASIOC have pretty full kits for good prices. Perrin, PandL, AMR, all make some nice kits proven to make good power. Also I guess int he end this is something to discuss with your tuner but i think these over 60lb/min flowing turbos will be pretty close to maxing out 850cc injectors. Can’t go wrong with getting a little more flow than you need to be safe. I don’t know. Just looking at the list, I feel like there are better inter coolers than Greddy, better BOV’s than HKS, and since you want to keep the stock motor in tact, you will have to have this set up tunes very very conservatively. Why not bump down to a 30R and have better spool if you aren’t going to use the 35R to it’s potential? You really need to talk to whoever will tune this car about this stuff. Sounds like you still have some research to do. Personally, unless you are going to have the funds for a built block, I would not go any bigger than a 20G but that’s me. Seen too many kids pour all their money into power and when something breaks, they have no money for fixing it.
