which blow off valve will not turn on the check engine light? this isnt for me its for my friend i know blow off valves arnt ment for a german car but which one would not turn on the check engine light? i heard HKS SSQ
I’ve had an HKS super sequential on my 1.8T for the last 100k miles and no check engine light. Haven’t had any problems with it. I know two other people that also have it and no problems.
just upgrade the diverter valve. the blow off valves are not made for the VW’s and, even with proper modification, may still throw a check engine light.
You need to go to neuspeed.com. They have the kit that you need for the recirculation. It still has the loud PSSSSSH sound, but it keeps everything running smooth. It,s $399. but includes the 3 pipes, the BOV and instructions. It takes about 30-45 minutes depending on your level of mechanical knowledge. My wife has one on her 01 jetta 1.8t.
Call a VW tuner not HKS. Call Neuspeed (APS) or Eurosport.
