hi i was wondering if anyone could help me i have an impreza wrx wagon on a 99 t reg it has a front mount inter cooler and a hks mushroom filter and a turbo xs bov i have recently noticed that the turbo boosts but it seems to hold back a lot as if i was loosing boost mid way through i have been told that the bov may be letting out boost so i took it off to see if i could adjust it but i cant i can easily push the piston in with my thumb has anyone any suggestions as to what the problem could be or if the bov piston should be able to be pushed in easily i noticed the decrease in boost before i put the front mount on . having put the front mount on i have increased power but still lack off boost?

OK, so I bought a 2004 WRX and decided to do a few mods. Here they are in order..
1.) HKS Blow Off Valve. (I got this before I heard not to get that first..)
2.) PLX Digital Boost Guage. (Capable of holding up to 200 different mods)
3.) GReddy Ti-C 3″ turbo back exhuast.
4.) AEM Short Ram Intake.

Now when I’m driving it feels like the turbo is hesitating and wants to sort of buck and then kind of go. I’m going to try and explain this part the best I can. When ever I am driving and I switch between 2nd-3rd and then 3rd-4th after pushing in the clutch and lifting my right foot off of the gas naturally as anyone else would, the RPM’s seem to rev up between 400-700 RPM’s from the point where I pushed in the clutch and lifted my foot. Anybody have any information that could possibly help me please!

im looking for a nice loud sound. I love the sound that it makes. I was looking at the HKS SSQV brand for and that seems to be what im looking for, i just wasnt expecting them to be so expensive. Also, if you have a legacy, have you done anythign to it? are you happy with the outcome?

On a STI the stock BOV releases the air back into the intake, right? Well if you put in a aftermarket bov but put the hose back on the end, like using a HKS ssq with the adapter, will it still make the car run rich or will it run fine, and will it still make a noise? I’m not planning on putting one on, but just thinking about it makes it sound like it would work fine.
