I know i’m supposed to get the forge DV/BOV…this assist stock. The HKS SSQV gives me a chubby! I hear this is bad…messes up comp, turbo lag, and turbo stress, not to mention loss of power. Is there a way to remap the stock ECU to put out more boost to supply aptmospherical blow off. I have 01 jetta 1.8t stock w/ short ram intake. ?? How bad would this move b????

I have an 1998 audi a4 turbo, which had a stock diverter valve on it. I bought an HKS SSQV blow off valve and put the recirculation vlave on it, and it makes no blow off sound..basically pointless to have it on. But my question is..if i take the recirculation valve off and have it blow off into the atmosphere will it mess up my car? Will it affect the turbo?

i already have a nice intake in it but would a hks super sequential blow off valve run well with my car because my friend already has one he’ll give to me and should i recirculate the air or just leave it open? really hoping i won’t have to go out and get one myself but if so will do it and which blow off valve is best?
